Ecopsychology

Ecopsychology provides training and healing work in the presence of the natural world. It begins with the recognition that we are intimately involved with the natural world with every breath we take and everything that we feel.

Our appreciation of beauty has evolved with the natural world as its first reference point. Our psyche makes use of the natural world symbolically in its deepest processes of imagining and growing.

Ecopsychology seeks to bring us home to the greater whole of which we are a part. It is an act of remembering the living context and wild wisdom of our true selves.

Ecopsychology brings calm, clarity and a deepened sense of belonging in the world, and in ourselves.

What ecopsychology looks like
* Psychotherapy sessions held outdoors.
* Specific exercises to connect with a place in nature that is well-loved, to promote wholeness - surprizing benefits can occur in the context of such a relationship with place.
* Active imagination and individually created ceremony involving important places and relationships.
